Suvereto is a town nestled between the Cornia river valley and the first uplands of Colline Metallifere, with ancient walls which reveal its medieval origins. From here, you can admire the Tyrrhenian Sea and the great quantity of olive groves and vineyards which draw its unique profile.

But the true protagonists of this landscape are the cork oaks (sughere): the name Suvereto comes from such plants, which we find in the town crest as well.

As soon as you arrive, you will not be surprised to know that Suvereto has already been in the list of the most beautiful towns of Italy for some years.

Suvereto has always been a perfect place for agriculture, livestocks and forestry activities, as well as offering a great variety of landscapes; the provincial park of Montioni, for example, is perfect for trekking, mountain bike and horse lovers. In all the surrounding area, moreover, you can appreciate several species of animals and plants.
